Pledging
Pledging is a vital part of Ocean Grove Community Enterprise.
It helps us determine the level of support there is in our community towards what we are trying to achieve, whether that be a specific one off project or regular community involvement, through grants etc...
Pledging is also vital in creating a funding pool with the dividend from Bendigo Bank, Geelong Community Telco and other future organisations as well as spreading the word around Ocean Grove and also acts to aggregate the demand for Ocean Grove Community Enterprise projects.
When you do your banking with the Ocean Grove Bendigo Bank and your work uses Geelong Community Telco for its phones and data, a dividend comes back to the Ocean Grove Community Enterprise funding pool when you nominate it as your chosen charity - its that simple.
